Eagle is one of only two locations in Colorado to host an Ice Castles exhibition this winter. Experience the magic of tunnels, caverns, towers, fountains, slides and caves, all built entirely from ice. At night, the frozen fortress is illuminated by color-changing LED lights embedded within the ice, creating a truly enchanting experience.

Ice Castles are located at the Eagle County Fairgrounds and will be open through early March, weather permitting.

March 5th and March 19th

Enjoy the free tour with the Town of Vail’s Art in Public Places Coordinator. The tour winds its way through the village with discussions of the history of the valley, the founding of Vail Mountain, master planning of the village, and the importance of site-specific art. Subject to cancellation.

March 6th and March 13th

The rich and often colorful history of Vail comes alive again with this popular walking tour. Learn about the early days of Vail and discover entertaining facts about historic landmarks.

The program is $10 per person, with proceeds benefitting the Museum.

Colorado Snowsports Museum’s annual ticketed live speaker series celebrates Colorado snow sports and is designed to inspire and engage all ages with captivating stories of snow sports history, culture, innovation, and trailblazing achievements.

Anjelah Johnson-Reyes is one of the most successful stand-up comedians today with six comedy specials streaming on various platforms and selling out theaters across the world. Her most recent special, Say I Won’t, debuted on YouTube with over 3.8M views.

Eddie Ifft has been called one of the most underrated comics in America by the Onion and has proudly told jokes around the world to sold-out crowds in over 15 countries. Eddie is co-host of one of the most successful podcasts in the comedy world called Talkin’ Sh*t. His critically acclaimed DVD “Live From Australia” was filmed in front of a sold out audience at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney Australia.

The Annual Vail Recreation District Krueger Family Shamrock Shuffle 5K and 10K races and the kids’ 1K fun run will celebrate all things green in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day!

Taking place on the Vail Nordic Center trails, the event includes race categories for snowshoes and Yaktrax, as well as a non-prize-eligible running shoe category. The race will be followed immediately by a lively post-race party at the Vail Golf & Nordic Clubhouse.
