Beats Antique
You can’t know Beats Antique until you’ve been a part of it’s journey, and experienced the act as an entity with a life of its own. A stage show that demands more music; music that needs costumes, ships and masks and shadow dances; an audience that comes for art, and takes away stories to feed their imagination.
Commitment to the full performance art form is how Beats Antique fuses musical worlds, pulling on global sounds for experiments on the fringes of cinematic cabaret, informed by electronic mash-ups and inspirations who have joined them on the journey such as Les Claypool, Alam Khan, The Glitch Mob, Too Many Zooz and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

The Shamrock Shuffle Snowshoe Race
The Annual Vail Recreation District Krueger Family Shamrock Shuffle 5K and 10K races and the kids’ 1K fun run will celebrate all things green in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day!
Taking place on the Vail Nordic Center trails, the event includes two race categories – snowshoes and running (with or without traction devices). The race will be followed immediately by a lively post-race party in the Gore Range Room at the Vail Golf & Nordic Clubhouse.
Legend has it that Ben Krueger hid a pot of gold when building the Vail Golf Course in the 1960s. He never disclosed the location to his family because he wanted it to be for the community to find! If you’re lucky enough to find it and bring it back to the race finish, you could win a great prize from one of our sponsors! The Krueger Family Shamrock Shuffle offers a fun athletic competition and is a great way to keep you moving in the winter. Sign up…whether you’re Irish or not!
