For as dark as everything seemed, you can’t help but feel a sense of hope in the power of Marcus’s voice.

With his signature beard and African headgear, Billy F Gibbons is instantly recognizable and best known as the centerpiece of ZZ Top. BFG is widely regarded as one of the world’s finest guitarists working in the blues-rock idiom.

From his early days playing cover music behind chicken wire at a west-side Jacksonville juke joint while still working at a lumberyard, to playing sold-out shows at some of the largest venues and music festivals in the world, JJ Grey has always delivered his soul-honest truths. 

Art in Public Places is pleased to announce the 18th Annual Vail Winterfest opening January 2025 featuring six larger than life ice sculptures resembling owls on the Gore Creek Promenade, located by the International Bridge in Vail Village, and will be displayed until the ice melts! In the evening, these nocturnal creatures will be illuminated!

Afrique en Cirque is a show by Yamoussa Bangoura, inspired by daily life in Guinea. This performance shares the beauty, youth and artistry of African culture. A colorful show beyond its scenery, costumes and staging, it makes any theatre vibrate with energy and represents the strength, agility and life’s joys of young Africans. The audience will see acrobats execute gravity-defying moves and human pyramids, accompanied by the contemporary sounds of live Afro-Jazz, percussion, and kora.
