Races typically start at the Covered Bridge and end at the International Bridge
The Vail Recreation District partners with the Eagle River Water & Sanitation District, Town of Vail, and Alpine Quest Sports to host the annual Vail Whitewater Race Series. The races will be divided between three categories, including kayak (under 9’6″), stand-up paddleboard (SUP) (under 11′), and 2-person raft* (under 10′) teams with different course challenges every week. The course challenge for each event will be determined on the day of the race based on river flows.
The Vail Whitewater Race Series is open to all paddlers ages 16 and up and of intermediate to expert abilities. The skills to run Class III whitewater in your chosen craft are required.

The Vail Comedy Show is well known for hilarious, sold-out shows in a destination resort town, for which it has received international press coverage.

The Eagle Ranch Classic kicks off the 2025 Bloch Ongert Mountain Bike Town Race Series. The course will take racers on a variety of double and single track with distances ranging from 3.5 miles for younger riders and beginners to 12.6 miles for more experienced riders. The race start/finish is at the Arroyo Drive trailhead in Eagle Ranch.
